Thank you so much for offering this forum.

Quick question: Can you tell me if the more than five pregnancies from donor 11568 were conceived via artificial insemination or invitro fertilization?

Also, are there any known medical problems with this donor's offspring?

    I had a child by this donor (IUI). And have actually used my last vial and hopefully am pregnant. I'm soooo hoping that you have extra vials, as you probably know this donor is retired w/no vials left. Any that I can take off your hands? Our family would be so greatful to you!

    Welcome to the forum!

    The reported pregnancies from Donor 11568 are a result of both IUI and IVF procedures.
    We are unable to share specific numbers, but since IUIs are more commonly done, there are generally more reported pregnancies resulting from IUIs. Your physician would be the person to determine which procedure might be best for you, based on your health and age.

    You can always contact our Genetics staff at 877-743-6384 to get updated medical information about a specific donor since they document and investigate any medical problems in donor offspring. It’s important to report a pregnancy/birth to us and keep your contact information up to date, because if we ever receive new medical information that could be relevant to your child’s health, one of our genetics counselors would attempt to contact you to discuss this information.     Donor 11568 is limited for sibling use and we have families waiting for additional vials to become available from buy backs.
