Do you look at sperm morphology?

We are a married couple who have male factor infertility related to very poor sperm morphology (we have 0% normally shaped). And I am wondering if you take the morphology into account when looking at the sample. Is there anyway to get this number for a specific donor?

Thanks so much!

  • We absolutely take morphology into account when screeing our donors. Many CCB donors are in the 50% normal shape range. However, anything above 30% is considered normal and all our donors would certainly fall in that range.

We do not usually publish individual donor morphology. But if you have questions about a specific donor, feel free to email me and I will put you in touch with our lab manager who can provide you with the information.
