Am I allowed to ask how many pregnancies donor 12249 has had? I had my IUI with his sample today and the total count was 8 million. This seems pretty low? Is that standard?

    Hi Color -

    We can share if a donor has more or less than 5 reported pregnancies. Donor 12249 has 5 or more reported pregnancies.

    Our technical director points out that there are abundant scientific studies indicating that for IUIs with a donor, numbers in excess of 5 million motile sperm do not increase the conception rate regardless of recipient age.

    We'll keep our fingers crossed that in two weeks you get a BFP!

    If you need to continue IUI cycles, we'll need your clinic to complete a specimen report form so that we can look into this further. Feel free to speak with Client Relations manager, Melonee at x1240, if you have additional questions.
