in need of advice

I have had 3 iui natural, no pregnancies. Now skipping a month and will start again with clomid. How successful is clomid. Dont want to do injectables due to increased cost and muntiples because twins run in the family. Any advice, I am starting to get discouraged and wonder if this is worth my time and effort. Please help.

I've done 3 IUIs with Clomid. No luck :(( Each month I had one good follicle. I think I would have had that without the Clomid so I'm sure how effective it is. My Drs suggest I now move onto injectables. Not looking forward to them b/c of the cost and the almost every other day ultrasound & bloodwork at the Dr office. Not sure how I'll swing those visits with my job.
