I have had 3 failed natural IUI, one failed with clomid ( just one follicle and caused very thin uterine lining requiring me to take estrogen). Dr today said he recommend I move on to injectables with IUI as this will produce more follicules and not thin the lining. Anyone have any experience with this or success? I honestly can not afford IVF, so this is a last shot. I would love to hear a success story!!

    Hi... I don't exactly have a success story yet.. however I started with the Follistim injectables last friday for the first time. I went for my first ultrasound this past Wednesday and I had so many follicles they had to cancel my IUI cycle. I had 15!!! I'll start again with a lower dosage in a couple of weeks and do it all over again, but apparently the injectables work very well for me. Hopefully they do the same for you. Good Luck!
