13533 success??

Has anyone out there used donor 13533 with success??? please let me know thank you! I have tried him 4 times without success... just trying to make decision whether to change.

are you going to try him a 4th time? Like i said I switched donors and also has no success- so I may go back to this one- really I dont think that it has to do with the donors- its just not the right time or whatever- i think if u are healthy and young/fertile or whatever u could get pregnant with any donor if you try enough times- i sure hope im right about that anyways!! Good luck keep me posted please if you use him again or have success!

Meg, I saw a few of your posting today and want to help a little. What finally got me pregnant was 3 things. Acupuncture 3 times a month. Switching off of clomid, which my Harvard educated RE says creates a more hostile uterus, and switched to injectables. Much less side effects too!! The third thing was one baby aspirin a day from insemination. I also believe in switching donors every other time until you get pregnant. There is no way I would do five or six times with the same donor unless I was married to him. I know you are struggling with that and wanting to stick with the same donor but I wouldn't get that attached. Also I heard positive things about drinking pineapple juice while trying to pregnant so I did that too. Who knows about that though?

Thank you for your help. Well I am trying clomid this round... had two failed with letrozole... before moving on to injectables... gottagive clomid a shot its cheap and I just wanna try something new also doing progesterone supps this time too. . We used new donor last time without success so we are going back to first choice.. just feel good about him I dunno. Its tough. Maybe after this ewe will change again.....
I've heard about the baby aspirin I have taken that on and off but not every day bc it scares me.. ill have to try pinapple juice haha I'd eat dirt if someone said it would get me pregnant at this point. Lol. Thanks again

Also did progesterone suppositories as opposed to cream or pill. Doc said they were better absorbed. I think there is such a thing as chemistry between sperm and egg. I have heard of several couples that couldn't get pregnant together got divorced and both people got pregnant no problem with their new partner. I just would hate for you to be so set on one donor when another donor's sperm might be more effective for your body. At the end of the day you want a baby. They have many good choices here for donors and you end up falling in love with the donor that gives you that precious baby. You are 29 with no negative diagnosis so there is no reason why you aren't pregnant yet. Keep trying but give yourself all the opportunity you can. And see if you can go for the injectables and acupuncture if this time doesn't work.

I understand what you are saying, thank you, I dont know personally about the sperm and egg chemistry thing- it could be true! I am hoping that its not in this case... but we will see. If it doesnt work this time, I will definately consider looking for a new donor- we just figured we changed, it didnt work, so mightaswell go back b/c it shouldnt be the sperm... but like i said after this time i may find a new one- its just hard. sigh.
I am also doing progesterone suppositories this round- so I am happy about that- mine is now "low" but it isnt high either from what I understand, so couldn't hurt! I am happy to be trying something new, along with the clomid. Thanks again for all of your input!

I know how frustrating it is but I 100% believe it will happen for you. Also, in the week after insemination listen to soothing nature like spa music and meditate. It will help relax you and not stress you out. Zen is the word.

Also as far as the "chemistry" thing goes. Who knows if it is a "real" thing or not all I know is everyone seems to have a story about someone they know who that has happened to. My story I know of is my aunt was with my uncle since they were teenagers got married and could not get pregnant went to drs and tried everything. No luck. 20 yrs. she has an affair on him and gets pregnant. They get a divorce and the uncle immediately knocks up the new girlfriend. That plus hearing all my friends stories of those that happened to, plus so many people on the board seem to get pregnant aft they switch makes me not too faithful to one sperm donor.

Hey Meg,

Not sure if we will try him again. Mainly because we are leaning towards open donors now. We have tried two other inseminations with different donors and still no luck so it may not be the donor but rather timing and chance. Good Luck! If we do try him again, I'll let you know :)

Hey laura I didn't see this post so on disregard my question on that other blog in the ask session.. u just answered me :) do u mind me asking is there anything " wrong" with you clinically orjust no luck yet? They haven't seen anything wrong with me but I think 6 tries is alot.... But maybe not. I'm sorry you have not had success either. Makes me feel a lil better though that changing donor's hasnt worked... You are right I guess the timing just isnt right.... painful though!!!! Yes please keep me posted good luck!

I know this post is old, but I wanted to let you guys know I'm pregnant with #13533. It was my first IUI with this donor, after exhausting many vials of two others. I really felt like he was meant to be!
