at home insemination

Help,

Come the first of the year my health insurance will no longer cover artificial insemination, for what ever reason.

How many have done at home insemination and how many have had luck with it? Based what i have read, the best sperm for this is ICI, am i correct?

  • Hi Dolph -

Yes, ICI vials are the recommended type for at home inseminations because they contain the seminal fluid that help the sperm travel to the uterus.

Please note that you will still need to have the A1 signed by a medical professional before you can ship specimen to your home. You will also need to obtain the supplies to do an at home insemination.
