Both Partners Trying at the Same time?

My wife and I are both ttc at the same time. We each tried for 5 months with ICI at home unsuccessfully. Are there any other couples who have tried at the same time?

    My wife and I are planning on trying 3-4 months apart. Once she is past her first trimester and everything seems good, I will ttc. We are on IUI #3 (we tried 3 months ICI at home). She was inseminated on Mothers Day! Today, we are dpo 11. She had a tiny bit of light pink spotting this morning and has a killer headache for 3 days and kind of feels like AF is coming.. so we are cautiously waiting out the next few days..

    Fingers crossed we get a positive on Saturday!

    We are on our 3rd IUI. Tommorow will be 2 weeks post IUI. Im anxious to know if Im pregnant. I have not tested just waiting to see if I start my AF. I will keep you posted. ANyone have any success stories they can share. I can sure use a bit of hope.

    YEA!!! good luck! Are you on clomid or anything? we aren't using anything yet but considering it if this month doesn't work. So far so good, no more spotting tonight :)

    What donor are you using? You and your wife had the IUI at the same time, like the same day? That is crazy!! I hope you get HUGE positives tomorrow!!

    Actually, we were trying at the same time, but not anymore. Were using donor 11443. Were using Femara. But, this drug only makes 1 strong folicle. If I dont get preganant after the 6 try then we are going to try Clomid or something. But, doctor said he wants to do a laproscopic surgery first make sure that everything is okay. Im kind of nervous about that procedure though, so I hope I am pregant before the 6th IUI. This process has been emotionally draining. Being so hopeful, then getting my period or a negative on the pregancy tests. Im trying to stay positive, but, I am finding it hard to. Tommorow will be 14 days post IUI and Im afraid to get a negative on prego test. Im glad, there is not more spotting for you guys..Maybe it was implantation bleeding. WHo knows, it may be a good thing. Keep us posted. I will keep you guys posted as well :)

    negative here too... we have decided to throw in the towel and are BOTH trying :). My wife is going to go in this weekend for her 4th IUI and then, depending on the results, I will go in the end of the month and try... I guess if she gets a positive this month, we will probably hold off until her first trimester is over, like we originally planned but if it doesn't work this month, well.. we are going for it and with our crazy luck.. we will end up with 2 sets of twins.. things tend to be all or nothing with us :) If it doesn't work this time for my wife I think we might look into fertility drugs so far we have only been using progesterone because her cycle is really short.

    I have my fingers crossed for the both of us! 4th time is the charm, right??

    I really hope so. I hope the 4th time will be. The reason we stopped trying at the same time was because it was so difficult for us emotionally. Draining! I pray to god that this time will be the month for me and if I am, then, my wifey will try after my first trimester is over. I really want to try Clomid or something but my doctor says he recommends that at the end of the 6th month of trying. I will keep my fingers crossed for us. I will go in for my 4th IUI in approx. 8 days. I will keep you guys updated. Please let us know if you both get pregnant. Good luck
