Donor Notification

Hi,
Odd question...but does the donor get notified when a pregnancy or live birth is confirmed? Are we just as anonymous to them as they are to us? Do they know where their samples have been sent etc.?

    It's an excellent question. We do not share any client information with donors and we do not notify donors when we receive pregnancy/birth reports. Our donors are aware that their specimen will result in pregnancies and births.

    To protect your privacy on our Bulletin Boards, we highly recommend using an anonymous screen name and to refrain from posting your personal email address since this is a public forum. It’s also important to be mindful of the information that you share on social media, other public websites, and the privacy settings that you have on social media accounts.

    We also offer a free Sibling Registry that only clients with a reported pregnancy or birth can access. It allows the ability to connect with other CCB families in a private setting.
