Pmzilla, I know you have been considering using him for a while, do you mind me asking where are you at in the process?
I know this donor was only available from June 2011-January 2013, he is no longer with the program. I also know that he only has about 5 reported pregnancies. I wonder why so few people have chosen him.
I don't think that, based on the numbers, >5 reported pregnancies is low at all- let's say 40 vials have been purchased (though not all have been actually used)thats >12.5% success rate...and that's only for the people who actually report. Most people buy at least 3 vials at a time, usually more, so there are likely multiple "quiet" purchasers.
We just did our second IUI- in the 2ww now. We've purchased from both 'batches.'
Thanks for your reply. It looks like you started the process slightly before me and know a bit more history, that is helpful information to hear.
During my phone call to CCB last month they confirmed 13115 is "retired".
You make a great point about reported pregnancies vs. number of vials the average person probably purchases.
I am very hopeful for you, good luck, fingers crossed, and keep us posted.
Good luck to you all, I'll keep you updated.
We're back in the 2week wait...tick tock!
Keep us posted on your progress!
It would be great to keep in touch. I will continue to log on here once in a while to check in.
I am doing fantastic btw, just hit week 9 and I feel amazing (almost too good at times). We heard the heartbeat a few weeks ago, I am still in a state of disbelief. I am tired and have been crampy since the beginning. I am already showing too and I am shocked as I was planning on keeping this a secret for quite some time. I am tiny and hear that sometimes you show quicker with a smaller frame? I will be interested to hear how you carry.
Please continue to stay in touch. I am so grateful for this blog. Am I allowed to ask where in the world you are located? How are you feeling?
Glad you're feeling well! Entering week 7 today. Also very tired here...and thirsty! But overall no complaints.
We're in MA. U?

So you are just 3 short weeks behind me, I hit 10 weeks today. I too am super thirsty all the time AND... I also live in MA!
It would be great to stay in touch and maybe not post all our messages live, would you be interested (and are we allowed) to share our e-mail addresses? I think the only harm is having them come up in an online search, which I certainly do not want and also the danger of revealing our anonymity to others. I would be interested to hear your thoughts. Maybe this is a question for California Cryo?
It really would be nice to stay connected if you are interested.

pmzilla - I'm also in MA.
My numbers were great from the second blood test and doubled. I can't believe how tired I am right away.
It would be great to keep in touch with both of you through this process.
i'm a 40 yr old single mom and this was my sixth IUI but only 3rd with this donor. The mobility count was always good with the donor.
pmzilla -i'm also in MA.
I'd love to keep in touch with both of you throughout your pregnancies.
What are the odds we are all in MA?! I would love to stay in touch. I would prefer to private message you. If you are interested, we would just have to send an e-mail to Aurora@cryobank.com stating we would like to exchange e-mail addresses and she will get the info to us securely rather than on this live blog.
Anyway, I am almost 13 weeks now, feeling great, cramps since the beginning, and I have been showing for about 1.5 months already!! Tomorrow we have a big test (Nuchal translucency?) I will feel better once we get past that and into week 14.
Please continue to keep me posted on your pregnancies, and I would love to exchange email addresses. I wish you continued health!!
