My partner and I planning to try to get pregnant this month, has anyone had any success on their first try?

    It's certainly possible! I've read several comments from women who found success after only one IUI. My wife and I had our first this weekend and are impatiently waiting to find out if I'm pregnant. Good luck to you and your partner!

    I'm trying to get pregnant first and am not using medication. We're hoping to be successful after only one try! Are you planning to use medication? IUI?

    I am too and have no idea where to start! Do you have to have a blood test first to decide which donor is best? We want to do it at home and I just don't know where to begin!

    Aburke, it's a good idea to discuss this with your physician first. We met with our OBGYN before ordering the sperm and are glad we did. You do want to pay attention to the CMV status of your donor.
