blunt fill needle

I am having a hard time finding a small enough syringe to suck up the semen. Is it ok to use a blunt fill needle on the end of a 10ml syringe to suck the sperm out of the vial, then unscrew the needle and just use the syringe to inject??

My advice is to give your OB a call. This is a good question that should be answered by a medical professional.

You may also try contacting one of the companies that sell home insemination kits for help. My guess is their customer service people are far more knowledgeable than I am. Try

I called the fertility clinic where I live and they said ti was perfectly safe to use a blunt fill needle to draw up the semen, just not to use it for the actual insemination. Duh! LOL
