My partner and I have been trying through a variety of means for four years. In that time we've both tried -- I started because of my age, and then we switched to her slightly younger eggs. We've done home attempts with a known donor, midwife attempts with that known donor, IUI attempts with a different frozen donor, and now IVF with this donor. Our first transfer was a retrieval cycle that wasn't successful. This time we used a frozen embryo from that initial retrieval and finally...finally...got a BFP!
