A BAD Vial

My first vial (IUI)came yeasterday. I went to the Dr this morning. My doctor checked the sample and rejected it as being unviable. On the slide, under the microscope, only one of the little guys was moving his tail and even he wasn't going anywhere! So I will have to wait till next month. The form sent with the sample stated 58% motility and 57% Ct per Ml which seems low to me. I am curious what counts your samples have been? The bank said they only guarentee 30% and that that is a good sample. The nurse said she thought 70% was what she remembered seeingon other forms from the same bank. I will try the same donor again, but not the same donation date. Curious about your experiences. Bummer!!

That is horrible! What donor did you use?

I am not sure if it was the donor's issue or cryobank issue on how they stored it or they did not check the quality of the vial before washing it (IUI). But it was donor #11488.

Is there any sort of guarantee against this? Do you have to PAY for a whole new vial again?
