Hi,
Why do you charge a reactivation fee if you already have the vials from the retired donor stored in your facility?

Hi @Olive0322, Donor Reactivations have been suspended since the pandemic started, but the process involves trying to get the donor to come back to donate for families who already have a child from that donor. If the donor is able and willing to come back to our program, he needs to go through the entire qualification process again. The reactivation fee covers some of the testing costs that are incurred, but there may also be travel expenses for the donor.
If you have a question about a specific donor, please feel free to email me: nicole@cryobank.com
