Anyone have success with this donor?
ICI or IUI? How many tries?
Why did you choose him?

lol. I have him as my donor and I'm just curious what made others pick him. :)

    I am using him!
    I had one IUI which didn't work. Unfortunatly that was my 7th IUI overall so I am moving onto IVF in June!
    I loved his essay I of course also looked at family history, religion, nationality,baby pics...but he just seemed like a good guy and a natural fit for me. I hope he is the one!

    Thank you! Fingers crossed for your IVF!

    Top right pic is the one that got me. haha. The level of education between himself and his family members was also a big factor for me. Religion didn't play a big part but nationality and medical health did. And I'm not gonna lie the fact that he's in school to become a doctor and "resembles" Chris Pratt also convinced me. lol.

    Yes all very good points!! We need to look at the small details because the choices are overwhelming. I am also limited because I must choose someone with a negative cmv (I think that is what it is called) and I also wanted an open donor.

    I thought about using an unknown donor but seeing as I am planning to be a single parent I thought I'd owe it to my future children to decide if they ever wanted to meet their biological paternal side.

    Negative CMV was a reason I picked him too. Not that I needed a negative donor but simply for peace of mind.

    My doctor required the negative (I think because I was negative?) some doctors do and some do not.

    I felt the same about an open donor. Gives them a choice in the future.
