Waitlist Timeline & Pregnancies- Donor 16272

Hi @cryoadmin I have been on the waitlist for donor 16272 for about two months and was wondering if there was any information about this donor. Such as expected next vial release, reported pregnancies.
If there is anyone who can let us know pretty much anything that'd be great!

Hi @Pisces3, as you may know, we paused our donor operations for a few months during the height of the pandemic. In addition, our normal process includes a 6-month quarantine on all vials with repeated intervals of infectious disease testing. So these combined factors have caused a longer timeline of when vials are released.

Donor 16272 had a limited amount of vials released at the end of 2020 and very few vials were shipped out for use. We don't have any reported pregnancies yet and I imagine we probably won't get reports until additional vials are released and used in inseminations.

Donor 16272 is still active in our program, but we can't guarantee additional vials will become available because it depends on future blood draws. Right now it looks like he may have additional vials released in June/July.

Please note that the only way to secure vials for future cycles or siblings is to purchase and store them while they are available. Our donors can sell out quickly, and especially over this past year we have seen donors selling out at record speed.
