Hello! I went ahead and got genetic testing with Invitae through my fertility clinic. They gave me a good discount for being a cash patient because my insurance wouldn't cover it. I wanted to make sure that the donor wasn't a carrier for some of the conditions I was a carrier for and vice versa. If you're already spending thousands on fertility treatments, why not pay an extra $200-$300 to make sure you don't share any genetic conditions? Wishing you the best of luck
