How many tries of IUI did it take you to get a BFP?

I know they say the average is 3-4 IUIs before you get pregnant. I'm about to do my second round of IUI and would love to hear some positive stories

I got my BFP on my 2nd medicated IUI attempt! I am currently 4 weeks 3 days. Good luck to you! Lots of baby dust to you!
@gettingmybaby2020 Aw Congratulations on baby! I'm going to my second IUI tomorrow. Trying to be a little more calm this time. Hopefully I will be right behind you.

@gettingmybaby2020 my IUI went well, smoother than last time- I tried to stay calm. Now 2 weeks of wait... i will keep you posted, hopefully with great news!

@gettingmybaby2020 Thank you! I'm trying to stay busy and kinda forget about these TWW. I know its kinda impossible, but last time I killed myself googling everything. lol.

@gettingmybaby2020 LOL I was doing pretty good, but the closer I get to the end of TWW the more anxious I get. I have been cramping the last 4 days and last night I kept waking up through the night, which is not normal of me. I'm getting super excited, hoping the cramps are a good sign. I try to keep my cool, but it's kinda impossible. lol How are you doing?
@8485 I hear ya about being anxious! Lots of sticking baby dust to you!!! I’ve had a couple of days where I was feeling a bit nauseous, but I’m trying my best to take it easy. 10 days until my first ultrasound. I’m looking forward to it...I’ll be 7 weeks!
@gettingmybaby2020 so did you have any symptoms before your BFP and how soon after IUI?
@8485 I took an HPT on day 5 that was BFP. Then I tested again on days 7 and 9 and both were BFN. So when I was a couple of days out from AF (but 4 days out from the end of my TWW), I started to get what I was thinking was period cramps. Same feeling I get when AF comes. I thought for sure it was AF...soooo I went on a few roller coasters to take my mind off of the BFNs. 😬 Day 14 AF still hadn’t started so I tested again and it was BFP!!!
@gettingmybaby2020 I'm debating if I should take a test on Wednesday, which would be 12dpo or just wait till Friday....im just impatient lol
@8485 I can’t help you with that...I tested early during both TWWs!!! Lol 😬 I think it’s natural to be anxious and want to find out prior to the end of the TWW.
@gettingmybaby2020 I did it! I tested this morning at 4am LOL and its a BFP! It still hasn't sunk in. I will retest again on Saturday lol
@8485 OMG!!! Congrats to you and welcome to the club!!! Still confirm with a blood test at your REs office. How exciting though! For me the math of it all is so weird!! Positive test one day, then literally the next moment I’m 4 weeks... like, what?! 😂 Who is your donor?
@gettingmybaby2020 yes, i called my dr and they told me to go by Monday to pick up lab work to confirm it. My donor is 14731

@gettingmybaby2020 Just got the call I was waiting for- I am officially Pregnant! lol Blood test confirmed. My first ultrasound should be taking place in 2 weeks! I am so happy!
