Has anyone used this donor? I'm considering him and concerned since he has limited vials yet no reported pregnancies. Thanks in advance for your help!

    @KT2312 Very few vials of Donor 15158 have shipped out.

    All of our donors go through the same stringent screening process and less than 1% of applicants actually become Cryobank donors. Please keep in mind that another client's pregnancy or lack of pregnancy has no bearing on your personal chance of success. In 2001, a study determined that the 5 predictive variables for the outcome of IUIs with donor sperm include number of treatment cycles, number of mature follicles, the cycle day for insemination, occurrence of ovulation at the time of the IUI, and maternal age.

    Please note that Donor 15158 provided a very limited amount of vials. It looks like he may have completed our program earlier than expected due to a change of location. (If you were hoping to connect with other families that used this donor and be involved with sibling groups, you may want to choose a different donor.)

    Just keep in mind that choosing a donor with reported pregnancies won't increase your chance of conceiving. If this donor is a good fit for you and your family, you should feel comfortable moving forward with your choice.
