Live Births for 15357
Has there been a live birth from donor 15357? I had a positive pregnancy test with this donor but miscarried at about two months due to a missing or added chromosome. Just trying to see if I should pick a new donor.

@Bear1313 I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Donor 15357 was only added to our catalog about 7 months ago. It's too soon for reported births and not many vials have shipped out for this donor.
Unfortunately, miscarriages are more common than many people realize. It's estimated that 20% of all pregnancies end in a miscarriage. Chromosomal abnormalities are a common cause of miscarriage. They usually occur just by chance in the developing pregnancy and are not inherited from either parent.
Please note that we do perform a chromosomal analysis on our sperm donors and if an applicant has an abnormal chromosome number or structure he would not be eligible to participate in our program.
If you'd like to discuss this further, please don't hesitate to contact our team of genetic counselors at 877-743-6384. They are available by phone Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm Pacific Time.
Also, if you haven't done so already, please be sure to report your miscarriage: https://www.cryobank.com/services/post-conception-services/report-pregnancy/
We'd like to help you however we can and wish you well.
Regards,
Nicole
