Relocating and scared

I plan to relocate to another state with a new job, and hopefully have a successful pregnancy by then. Orientation in my field of work is 6 months. I am worried that my new employer may not want to keep a pregnant or new single mother after orientation. Therefore, I am so uncertain on what to do. Should I stay at my current location (which is not where I want to be) or should I go blindly with the new job.
Anyone had to make such tough decisions? Please share your thoughts.
Thank you

  • allison good luck on your journey. It is a tough one to make so many decisions. All i know is go with your heart. Things to think about, as I got laid off 3 weeks after I went back to work, and I am a single mom by choice. It was the best thing that could have happened for me. I am now spending the first year of my son's life at home with him, while I try to figure out what I want to do with him. We are going to move closer to family but as for anything else I am not sure.

My thoughts are go for it. Great opportunity to have a new job a new start and everything else. Not sure where you are moving from to. Keep us up to date.
  • Anissa, thank you for the advise/encouragement. I am very happy that things worked out for the best for you, and hope&pray that it continues to get better and better. I am to relocate from NY (lots of family) to California (one supportive sister there). I tend to over-analyse everything; but this time, like you said, I will try to go with my heart.
Thank you so much for your support.

    I will keep you posted,
    allison
  • Anissa, I was very bummed out with the failure of my first IUI. I am going for my second one next week - this time with Clomid.
Is your son with cryobank/ after how many trials/ and did you to use meds?
I am just trying to be hopeful; and yours sounds like a success stroy.
