in Single Mothers by Choice
Day 1 today so I called my doctor. He had me come in and wants me to take Clomid for 5 days this time (first round was unmedicated). Ultrasound looked perfect but he does want to run a test (I forget the name) where he'll inject water into my uterus and track it via ultrasound. Has anyone had this done before? He is 99% sure I am fine, but obviously wants to be 100% sure.
I am lucky to have such a great doctor who keeps me upbeat and has such a positive attitude!

    I would definitely try the Clomid. I responded to your post about it on another page here.

    I had no fertility problems but after 3 failed IUIs with Clomid my Dr did an HCG. It's an xray to check if your tubes are blocked. They inject a dye into the uterus and watch it travel to the tubes. You can see everything that is happening as you lay there. My first HCG was inconclusive. The dye didn't flow through the left tube as quickly as he would have liked. He thought that maybe my tube contracted and pushed the dye out. So I went in for another one but this time I had to take one valium before. This would relax my body so as not to push the dye out. It worked. Not to mention that I was super relaxed and calm for the rest of the day and slept great that night.
