Well, we finally did it. We inseminated. We had been waiting for awhile to get started, mostly because we’re gutting and renovating our entire house (and also b/c we were considering one last big ski vacation in CO so we were waiting for winter). Long story short, we just decided to go for it.
My partner had an IUI on Sunday, so we’re four days into our 2WW. I think we may have inseminated too early (we were so excited to see the positive OPK that we jumped at it!), but all we can do at this point is wait to see.
The good news is that there were LOTS of little guys in the sample. I think CCB guarantees 10 million, our Dr. looks for 20 million, and our sample had 48 million.
