Any news on Donor #11821 and #11255

Hi,

My husband I used donor 11821 in our last IVF cycle but it didn't take. Of course it doesn't have to mean that anything is wrong with the donor, but in my search there seems to be few successful pregnancies (although the discussion was from earlier this year). I had 13 eggs, 7 fertilized, and 2 that made it to transfer on day 3.

Will enter a new cycle and we would like to use 11821 again but now I'm not sure.

We have also considered donor #11255 and there seems to be more reported pregnancies with this donor.

Has anyone had any successful pregnancies with these two donors lately?

    Hi jomal -

    We have more than 5 reported pregnancies with 11821. There is no reason to change donors if you are happy with him. The development of the embryo has very very little to do with the sperm once the egg is fertilized, so the fact that you had 7 embryos is good.

    FYI... Donor 11255 also has more than 5 pregnancies as well (in case you decide to switch anyway).
