Any known pregnancies from #12727 or #12101

in Selecting a Sperm Donor
My partner and I have been discussing parenthood for a couple of months now. We're newly engaged and so excited to be searching for the father of our "lil one"! We began searching on Fairfax but after weeks of research only lead to negative findings. After much thought we decided to try the California cryobank. Very excited cause we've narrowed our search to two candidates (12727 and 12101). Just wondering if anyone has any advice or if anyone has used these two with successful pregnancies. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

    Hi I'm vascilating still on which site- Fairfax
    or California and prefer an open donor. Can you
    tell me you decided to use the California site over Fairfax? I'd appreciate hearing another's

    Hi Careylucas. I started out with Fairfax Cryobank. My RE's office had originally recommended both. They have had a long standing relationship with Fairfax since they opened their office doors quite some time ago. I chose Fairfax for several reasons. They were cheaper for one, with lots of sales. Second they had adult photos which I liked. I had looked at both but decided on Fairfax. I had my first IUI in November after 8 months of working hard to get everything lined up perfectly. My doctor was very disappointed with the specimen, only 3.5 total motile sperm. After 8 months of working hard to get to this point it was disappointing. However, I did get pregnant! It ended in a miscarriage unfortunately. After my miscarriage my doctor suggested I switch to California Cryobank because they had seen several poor specimens in the past couple of months. This was a big shift in their loyalties. I switched to California for my 2nd IUI which I'm HOPING to have done this month if all goes smoothly...which hasn't been the case for the past year. I continue to follow the Fairfax forums as I have made some friends on there. I see lots of women get pregnant there and not too many complaints. In fact someone just got pregnant from my donor I used for my first IUI on her first try. I'm sure it's still a personal preference but I hope this helps!

    I just had my first IUI on 3/15/13 using donor 12727. I will find out the results on 3/29/13- I'm so excited! Did you decide which donor you are going to use yet?

    kriology I look forward to finding out if ur pregnant! I'm praying very hard for u! My partner and I are def leaning towards #12727. However, we aren't planning to get pregnant till August. I wish u the best of luck and please keep me posted!
