Question about progesterone levels

Is anyone familiar with progesterone levels after clomid? I just received my bloodwork back and my level was at 1.5!!!! What exactly does this mean? I know that I'm suppose to be at a 15, so this obviously is not a good number to have. I'm suppose to call the doctor back when I have Day 1, but now I'm afraid that Day 1 won't happen if my levels are this low.

    Hi Kreed, I also had a low progesterone. I believe it was 8.4, and that was CD 8. One week after second IUI. They like to see it more like 15. So that's when Clomid came in. Then boom, 22 next time. Also make sure you are fasting when you do it. I read that eating before can mess with the results. What Cycle day are you on?

    Thanks for sharing! We are just beginning this process and my biggest hurdle at this point is finding the right dosage of Clomid in order to get me to 15. We have not even begun IUI's yet. In May, after my first time on Clomid, my doctor had me complete bloodwork on Day 20. This is when I received my 1.5 level. Today, I had to go in to get a shot in order to menstruate. Seems the low level is probably why I am unable to menstruate on my own. :( So, once that begins, we will start the process all over again.

    I'm just keeping the Faith and trust that it will all work out!

    Thank you for the information on fasting...I never would have thought that would affect the levels.
