can i freeze sperm?

Mu donor lives out of state and i want to know if he freezes the sperm and mails it to me will it still be alive and usable upon recieving it?

    Hi Just -

    If you have a directed donor (known donor), he must go through a similar screening process as an anonymous donor. I included a link below with more details.

    The specimen needs to be frozen by a cryogenic lab and stored and shipped in a cryogenic tank.

    Please note that it's also important to consult with a legal professional when using a known sperm donor.
