First IUI tomorrow!!

I am having my first IUI done tomorrow using donor 12404, I am very nervous but excited at the same time. I got my OPK+ on Thursday evening around 7:00 pm called today to schedule and thought they would want me to come in today. To my surprise she wanted to wait until tomorrow morning (Sat) I am really hoping that the timing is correct :/

    BFN : ( We are trying again with a different donor this month. Trying to stay positive and hoping this one will take.

    Hi cabolen, I know every woman is different but I thought I'd share our experience. My 1st iui I went in 36 hrs post OKP+ and did not get pregnant . My second try I got a OKP+ at 8pm and to my surprise my Dr had me come in the next day at 1:00 in the afternoon. I was sure that it was too early but it was what worked with our schedules that day. We got a BFP 11 days later and I am now 14 wks along. Best of luck to you.....staying positive is so important!

    C&DM thank you so much for sharing. Congrats on your pregnancy I am so happy for you! I know that timing is so important and I have been wondering if we did wait too long. I tested in the morning around 7am (no surge) and then around 7pm(had a smiley). So, I had my surge Thursday between 7am-7pm then had the IUI on Sat around 10am, that could have been more then 48hrs. I think that around 24 hours after +OPK is when we will do the next iui if possible. It gives me hope that it worked for you : )

    I took a hpt and it was a BFP!! Had my +OPK on 10/15 at noon and IUI done on 10/16 also around noon. I just wanted everyone to know that not waiting so long this time to do the IUI is why I think it worked. I know that anyone going through this process understands how draining this can be escpecially the waiting. I wish everyone luck and remeber to be persistant and stay positive : )

    I had my first IUI on the day before Thanksgiving 2010... I had a positive OPK on the tuesday before and I called dr and he had me inject OVADRIL...I went in wednesday morning and had IUI(I didn't use any chlomid) and 34 weeks later I gave birth to a beautiful 5lb 8oz little boy... Timing is everything... Keep positive and try not to worry about money and if its gonna work because stress is a major factor for a miracle to happen... We used donor 11842...
