Will have IUI, can i purchase ICI/Premium?

My doctor will be doing the IUI procedure on me and the donor that we are interested has only ICI/Premium. Can i purchase this sperm for the IUI procedure?

I do understand the ICI is unwashed and IUI is washed.

    You have to have washed sperm for an IUI procedure however if your doctor is able to wash the sperm then you can buy the ICI vials. Our RE recommended the already washed vials instead but said if we found one we loved who only had ICI she would wash for us.

    Our RE actually prefers the ICI so that they can wash it themselves.

    Definetly call your Dr. and find out what they prefer.

    Thanks so much for the responses! :) I called the office today and they said that ICI is fine and that they can wash the sperm.

    Correct. ICI can always be washed by your physician for an IUI procedure.
