First IUI this month.... Ahhhh so nervous...

Any tips or suggestions for the first IUI? I am so nervous because we had to purchase unwashed vials bc the donor was sold out... any one have success with thawing and washing the semen?

    Hello! My partner and I will have our first IUI this month as well...around Feb 26th :) Seems like we are in the same stages of preparing! When it came to sample type our doctor actually preferred us to buy ICI samples rather than the IUI samples...she said overall they like to wash the sperm themselves because it gives them a slightly better sample to work with (although she also did say it's only her preference and CCB does an excellent job preparing samples). I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself waiting...the 2WW will probably seem like an eternity. Are you going to have a medicated cycle? Wishing you and your partner BABY DUST!!!     Best of luck to you and Wally! US TOO!!! Feb is a popular month. WE will more than likely be going in about the 20th. Cant wait to hear updates from both of you. Try and stay calm, think positive, invision yourself happy and pregnant.

    Ahhh I'm so excited I'm bursting at the seams. We purchased 5 vials due to some complications with a closed/blocked tube. How many tubes did you guys purchase? I'm not sure when I will be inseminated... According to my period app, the 7th should be my first day...and then i was told to start the famera on the 5th day. Today I went and filled the trigger shot prescription so I have it in the fridge for when I need it. I'm so freaking nervous and excited.     Ladies! Just checking in! How are we all doing?! We went in for our baseline ultrasound and started Clomid yesterday! Have appointment for second ultrasound Monday....and with some luck insemination Tuesday and Wednesday!!!! Hope all is well ladies! BABY DUST!!!!!!!!

    So for my wife, Mel, the clomid delayed her ovulation. she got the flashing ovulation smiley face for 5 days and only after the hcg shot last night did she et the solid smile face. We are inseminating tomorrow morning and this will be our first try. We were literally in the dr. office every 2 days doing ultrasounds. I didn't think her follicles were ever going to grow, but Wednesday one was at 18mm, so tomorrow should be about 22-24mm. Best of luck to you all. I am so happy to have other couples going through the same things, so comforting. Baby dust ladies. Positive thoughts for you all and us tomorrow.. ahhhh!

    Mel and Erin! Soooo happy for you both! I have my fingers and toes crossed for you both! Positive and happy thoughts....everything will be perfect! I find it to be extremely comforting as well to know other couples are going through this at the same time as us! Wishing you baby dust!!

    @donoradventures...how is your journey coming along!? My partner and I had two back to back IUI's on 3/2 & 3/3...we are in our TWW! We have our BETA bloodwork on Monday...so close yet so far!! Had progesterone drawn this past Monday, was a lil lower than they wanted, so they put me on Crinone progesterone gel...fingers are crossed for our BFP!!! How is everything coming along with you two...any updates!!?? Sending BABY DUST your way!!!
