Saw the heart beat!

Today was our second ultrasound and we saw the heart beat! 171 beats per minute, perfect for this stage of development. According to my LMP I'm just barely at 8 weeks, but according to the 5 week ultrasound I'm 8.3 weeks, and the baby measured 8.3 weeks today!!! Today was my last official appointment with the RE and now I have to make my prenatal appointment with my OB. ;-)

    Awww I'm so happy for you guys!! I can't wait to be at the stage of amazement in seeing an ultrasound with a beating heart in there!! Congrats you guys!

    We are just a little ahead of you, dp is 9 weeks 2 days. We get to see our little ones again on Thursday, then it will be a couple of weeks before we get into the ob.

    Awe...I remember seeing our babys heartbeat for the first time...it was amazing! I cried!
