I'm not sure if I should rule out donors that are CMV Positive or Negative... I was wondering if there were any opinions about this...

Hi,

It depends on your CMV status.

If you are CMV negative, and want to stay that way, then you may want to rule out CMV positive donors.

If you are CMV positive, then I don't see an issue with using a CMV positive donor.

Your Reproductive Endocrinologist may refuse to use CMV positive donor sperm if you are CMV negative or may require you to sign some kind of waiver.
