Are we able to find out a specific donor's pregnancy history? What I mean is, pregnancy gender. I am really wanting a girl and if I knew that a donor tends to "make" girls, I would lean more towards that donor.

    Hi R-girl,

    We do not provide gender information on the donor offspring. Each donor has too small a sample size to really analyze. In general, all men have the same approximate 50-50 chance of conceiving a boy or girl with any given pregnancy.

    If you are really concerned, there are tests that can be run if you do and IVF procedure that will allow you to do gender selection based on your embryos. It is REALLY expensive.
