I finally got the OK to trigger tomorrow from my doctor today. It only took 5 ultrasound and bloodwork visits, my poor veins. I have my 4th IUI scheduled for Friday, really hoping for a BFP this cycle. This is getting expensive. My doctor and I talked briefly of IVF and I may try to do that next cycle if this one doesn't work.
Sibling, I'm sooo happy for you! If you didn't see, kaylababy is preggers too, so you have a little bit of company already! Yay!
cc2011, good luck Friday! I am also feeling the strain on the pocketbook. I am so ready already! Unfortunately, IVF isn't covered at all for me, so its cheaper to try a few more cycles, especially since as of now, I have unexplained infertility (which just means they don't know why I'm on IUI 5 with no luck yet). I think it's just wonky timing so far.
Of course, it doesn't matter, because my little monkey is implanting as we speak! And so will yours! ;-)
None of this is covered for me, so IVF will be expensive, but I don't have much patience to keep trying.
I had IUI #4 this morning and it looked good with a count of 17 million. I've been having O pains since mid yesterday and still do, so I'm hoping I didn't O too early, or maybe I was feeling the follicle grow rather than burst yesterday.
I hear you, cc2011. I told myself I would never do anything as expensive as IVF, which would knock out all of my savings, but now... It's crazy how this all sucks you in. Now I just want it no matter what.
Tuesday is when I am supposed to take an HPT and then call the doc if it is positive to set up a beta test in the lab. I've been super good and I haven't taken any tests yet. ;-) I might break down and take one tomorrow, though- one day early will be a new high for my willpower.

I love your attitude!! So sorry it didn't happen for you this month. I keep telling myself that I will conceive the child I am meant to conceive at the time I am meant to conceive him/her. The same is true for you. It will happen when it's meant to happen. Keep up the great attitude.
I needed your words of support today. I have had a LOT of friends get pregnant in the last few months, and today I found out that the first friend that started trying after me just got their positive test. That was rough, especially because I am happy for her and miserable for me, but I can only show her the positivity; I would feel horrible if I messed up such a special day for her. As it is she felt bad telling me so close to my BFN.
I am so glad to have found this forum for us to be there for each other. You all make it easier for me to keep the best attitude I possibly can. Thank you all again.
I think I'm out this month :( I know it's generally too early to tell, but with being 10 DP IUI, feeling like I ovulated a day earlier than the doctor expected with trigger and getting a BFN this morning, it doesn't look good.
I still have to wait for my blood test Friday, but I think I'll be on to my 5th cycle of trying.
today is my last day in the 2ww. I took my blood test this morning and will have the results this afternoon. I am so glad this part is almost over. I am a 43 year who tried IVF for the first time after 2 miscarriages, fibroid removal, etc.
Thanks eeh. I meant to say to actorres (not eeh)that I didn't use your donor. My donor was 12677. My RE wants to see me tomorrow for more blood work and then again Friday and I will have my first sono the end of next week. I will be excited to have you guys on board!

My cycle seems a bit wacky this time around. My temp is up higher than usual and my OPKs have a darkish (but not quite as dark as the control) second line I'm only CD8 I can't be nearly ready to ovulate already can I? My usual O day is CD13.
I haven't posted on these boards in quite some time as really..what's there been to say. Have had 3 failed IUI's and 1 failed IVF and just in the tww from a second IVF..just had 3 embryo transferred inside of me yesterday morning..they weren't great embies..4-5 cell and so not feeling too hopeful. I only get one more shot with my insurance and really don't want to do this IVF again. Just wanted to touch base out there and I guess vent. Thanks.
Sorry, Gracas- I know it's hard. I haven't done any IVF (my insurance doesn't cover that process), but I'm on IUI 6 now, and it gets frustrating, especially since the doc can't find any reason for it not to work. But I'm staying hopeful about this round, and I'm hopeful for you too!

I am new to this and did my first (and hopefully my last) IUI today. Now it is time to wait. Hoping the time goes my quickly.
