We are at the exact same stage now. I just got my IUI this morning. I did not get good follicle on day11, day14, but I got one 18X14 follicle on my day16 (estradiol level: 184) and then did the ovidrel trigger on day17 (yesterday).
Hi DLM I wish you well on your IUI, I posted a msg yesterday but guess it didn't go through, I'm also trying to be single mom and looked at Asian donors. I am in CT too! I don't have a boyfriend or husband and didn't want to wait any longer. I found out my results of my 1st IUI tomorrow, I'm feeling positive. IT is the Chinese New Year! My pregnancy test results came back negative today on my final insemination. I'm out of sperm and money at this point.
My one remaining hope is if my former boyfriend is still willing to be a donor and we can work through international codes and the whole process from across the world. It also means we need to work out what kind of interactions, if any, he might want with the child(ren). I can't begin to imagine whether or not I'm even "wishing on a star" at this point.
At any rate, since I'm no longer going to be using CC, I'm not eligible to post here.

I was really sad this time, since everything on the chart looks good and I thought that I am going to make it.
I am going to take a break for one cycle. I will go to see my RE three weeks later and want to try more aggressive way. Hopefully I can start to do the injectable IUI sometime in April.
How is your plan? Canucci, are you going to try this cycle?
Sorry to hear about your negative result...I hope that you are more successful after taking a break!
We are going to try again this cycle (march). We're going to do an ultra sound, just to make sure everything's fine (as far as we know, my wife has no fertility problems, other than the complication of having to do IUI).
But again, we've only tried twice, so it's normal that we didn't get lucky yet...But as we are waiting, we get more and more nervous that it might never happen, even though that's not rational.
Anyhow, she'll probably ovulate around the 13th, so you can expect a post from me about the results two weeks after that.
Dan, I hope you keep in touch while you are waiting to do another cycle!
update: my wife just informed me that she wants to take a month off of inseminating...! It's funny/strange that we're having such a similar experience to Dan.
My wife was just offered a new job, and she wouldn't be able to be covered under the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act (for maternity leave) until December, so we're skipping this month to make sure the baby would be due late enough to be protected by that law. It's not like we think there will be a problem, but you never know, so we're 'playing it safe' by waiting another month.
