Baby Aspirin

My cousin who is trying via IUI said her doctor put her on one baby aspirin a day. Supposedly is helps with conception. My doctor did not do this. Did anyone else's?

  • Wow that's very interesting. I haven't heard of this at all! I find it very interesting to compare stories as although we are going through pretty much the same things, the route is very different!
  • I have heard of it. If I remember correctly, the theory is that is increases the flow of blood to the uterus and makes it easier to implant. I wasn't on it when I conceived. But hey, if it works, go for it.
  • I have an antiphospholipid antibody that has caused me to miscarry several times. Switched doctors after the third miscarriage and the new doctor found it. He put me on an aspirin everyday not only to help with fertility but to prevent me from miscarrying again should I get pregnant. He said he will also put me on lovenox injections once I get a BFP. Using a donor now because my husband had low back surgery and now has infertility from it. Getting ready to start my first IUI cycle with donor. *Excited*
