**BFP**

After 3 tries, I'm finally pregnant. I can't believe it finally happened. Just found out yesterday. Did about 6 home tests and then confirmed with the doctor. This was my second choice donor and I'm so happy I made the switch.

    KarenR -

This IUI was done very natural. No drugs. I timed my ovulation perfectly. I was inseminated twice.

After the 1st week I had slight spotting but unlike a period. That lasted only for 2 days. I also lots of tugging and pulling in the lower abs that I still feel today. Other than that, I felt fine. I tried not reading into anything because I was so sure I'd be disappointed again.

The 1st IUI I took Clomid and I'm not sure if I ovulated or got a false positve due to a cyst that went away.I felt symptoms but my Doctor told me they were from the Clomid.

The IVF procedure went great, it's just the donor, possibly after thawing, was "lazy"

I changed donors and made sure I got one with lots of reported births, started early tracking ovulation with clearblue easy digital and was inseminated twice.

I did start some spotting last night, but rechecked blood at the doctor and my numbers look great.

I'm still in shock. I never thought it would happen.

Congratulations. I'm on 9dpIUI on my third try, no meds. I switched donors this time as well and his numbers were better, so I am thinking positive. The first try, I had a chemical pregnancy but it didn't stick.

I'm glad to hear that it does work without meds! I'll know Thursday or Friday.

Lori B - I started hpt on day 10. By day 11 there was a faint double line. Day 12 did a digital yes or no test and it was detectable then.

Some people say don't test too early, but I just couldnt wait. I was too impatient. :)

Good luck and I wish you all the best.

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes. I hope all of us here get that BFP.

Susan congrats! 3rd time's a charm, right? Hoping I have luck on my first try - gotta get to that first. Surgery probably at the end of the month to get rid of the fibroid and the subseptum. She said as long as that goes as planned, I can have my IUI in November.

    SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!

    AbbyJenna -

November is right around the corner. I hope your procedure goes well so you can move forward with the IUI. So much to do before getting pregnant. It's definitely a journey.

Well, it was a negative...possibly pursuing drugs at the ripe ol'age of 39. Any insight would be helpful.

Lori - So sorry about your results. When do plan on trying again? It's always so difficult to start the process again.

I have an appointment on 10/28 with RE/Dr. to discuss meds. I am a single teacher so I want to time things well for spending as much time as possible with the baby. (I thought for sure the first round would work.) I travel 2 hours each way to the doctor, for a specialist. I am thinking more towards December/January, or will wait until early next summer. Thanks for your thoughts...how are you feeling?

Hi Lori - I'm a single teacher as well. I started the process in May so I understand wanting to time things properly. I'm going into my 7th week in a few days. I've been feeling good up until this past weekend. I love most foods and now I've become very squeamish towards some of my favorites. Other than that, feeling good.

It's so tough that your specialist is so far. I thought my 45 min ride was far. What state are you in?

Susan- I live in western MD and travel to Pittsburgh for RE specialist. There is one Dr. in Morgantown, which is closer but I am more familiar with Pittsburgh. Where are you? Good luck during your first trimester.
