    cryo-admin- have there been any live births with 13407? it seems like many people are saying they do not stick

    Yes, there have been live births with Donor 13407.

    All CCB donors undergo routine genetic screening as part of the qualification process to evaluate the risk for birth defects, miscarriage, and other medical issues in offspring. Any donor with a positive test is not eligible to participate in CCB’s donor program. These tests reduce the risk for medical issues in the donors’ offspring but cannot completely eliminate the risks.

    Unfortunately, miscarriages are more common than we might realize. It's estimated that 20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage:

    Our CCB Genetics Department actively tracks and investigates medical issues reported in pregnancies and offspring from our donors. Currently, there is no sufficient evidence to suggest an increased risk for miscarriage or other medical issues in pregnancies from Donor 13407.

    duncan978 was your procedure IUI or IVF and how many tries before a successful pregnancy with donor 13407?

    I did 1 ICI at home, and then 2 IUI in the doctor's office. I became pregnant after the second IUI (so, it was my third attempt). I'm now 33 weeks pregnant with 13407 and everything is going great!

    Congratulations Duncan. I had a child from donor 13407 earlier this year. Best decision I've ever made.
