IUI sample

can a vial prepared for IUI use be used as if it is an ICI? I do know that the IUI sample has been washed and usu has fewer sperm. But is you just defrost it can it not be used at home for ICI?

    It is not recommended to use an IUI vial for an ICI at home.

    IUI vials are intended to be inseminated directly into the uterus. Since IUI vials are washed, they don't contain the seminal fluid that is needed to help the sperm travel to the uterus.

    It's best to use the ICI vials if you plan to do an ICI at home.
