I am brand new to this,how do i get started, where do I go? I live in LA it shdn't be hard finding a doctor....any referrals? How much does the entire procedure cost...approximate.

You may want to check with your OB/GYN to see if he/she does donor insemination. Procedure costs can vary greatly from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars. It depends on the clinic, the type of procedure, if you'll be using fertility drugs, doing ultrasounds, etc.
