Any single mothers in NYC?

I am a single mother-to-be, 38, living in NYC about to have my baby in March 2012. I used donor sperm. Looking to connect with other single mothers in the area just as a way to build a support network with a similar experience. Anyone out there?

I'm in Forest Hills, Queens and would love to meet local single Moms and build some sort of support network. As our children get older there will be questions-a-plenty...and I'd really like not to go through this completely on my own!

I've perused the Single Moms by Choice site, and I am toying with the idea of joining. Anyone join up with that group...do you like it?
