IUI question

Do you know if one IUI vial could be seperated into two? So you could use half at 24 and half at 36 (what ever timing you want to use)? I know you can "shave" a vial for IVF and use it for later use. Is this really a question for my RE to answer? Thank you!

Hi Renee-

Once a vial is thawed, it is not recommended to try to re-freeze it. In addition, the IUI vials have a volume of approximately .5 mL, so it's a small amount of liquid to work with.

Typically, one IUI vial is used per insemination.
