I am scared. I don't know if this will work. I am a nurse, and don't want to wait anymore for mr right. I am 36...I feel my clock ticking. Any advice?

I was petrified too when I first started going through the motions of getting started (few weeks ago). Though I haven't had my first IUI yet, I've just finished doing all my blood work/genetic testing, had the HSG (fun fun) done, found out I had a blocked fallopian and finally the fear has left and I just want to get this show on the road. I don't know if this will work for me either...none of us do..but the longer we wait the lower our chances. I wanted to wait and see if Mr. Right showed up..now I feel like I'll just look for him later. I say take a deep breath and go for it. You have a good job, family and/or friends for support..you're good. Good luck.

Thanks Gracas. Went to the clinic today and we will attempt 3 times without meds, if that fails then to the next step. The ultrasound showed that I have small fibroids, and a cyst on my cervix...have to get a pap done tomorrow. I wish you luck...I will say a prayer for you.
