Live births for 13767?

Has donor 13767 had any live births?
Also, is the a guarantee of total motile count for ici vials? What happens if after the thaw it is lower than what ccb guarantees?

  • Hi C -

We received pregnancy reports for Donor 13767 but no birth reports yet. It usually takes longer for us to receive birth reports because clients don't report their child's birth right away. They usually mention it when they contact us to cancel or extend their vial storage or try for baby #2.

Sperm are living, moving cells, and under the best of circumstances the calculation of total motile sperm count can vary by 20%. When vials are evaluated in a doctor’s office, additional variables, such as amount of time the specimen is thawed, the individual doing the counting, and the type of counting chamber used, can significantly affect the total motile sperm concentration result.

ICI vials should be evaluated before they are thawed. If your physician/lab finds that the specimen is sub-standard, they can fill out our Specimen Report form so that we can review it further. Replacement vials and refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
