High fsh confusion and advice!

I had a fsh blood test done on cd3 a few days ago as suggested by my fertility specialist because of spread out LH surge days. I have a progesterone test draw 7 days after my LH surge so I won't get to talk to my fertility specialist till then.
They have suggested that I should go on clomid when trying to conceive early january. Has anyone else had an elevated fsh (of 11or more) and gone on clomid?
Would love to hear your experience! Confused and a bit worried!
btw...I had my progesterone level checked a few months ago and it was 10.5...which isn't that great either!
