Timing of IUI

I had my second IUI yesterday. I got a trigger shot on Monday night at 8 and had my IUI scheduled for 9 a.m. on Wednesday which would be around 36 hours after the trigger. However, my doctor had an emergency delivery that morning and could not get to me until about 2:45 that afternoon. I guess that would be about 42.5 hours after my trigger shot. Do you think it was too late? My doctor said it wasn't and that I was still within the window. I just hope I didn't miss it this month.
